The season ticket of the Cantemus Choir of Nyíregyháza, which we have launched to specifically promote high quality choral music, has been exceptionally successful in the circles of performers and the audience in the past.

Our concert series to date has all received enthusiastic recognition and great interest from the audience. The choral season ticket includes 5 concerts this season, which we hope will provide the audience of Nyíregyháza and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County as well as audiences from other parts of the country visiting our town with a magnificent concert experience. The first concert titled “Heritage of Venice” of the season ticket will take place on 29 October 2022, at which a combined performance of the Szeged Trombone Ensemble and the Cantemus Mixed Choir can be heard. At the further concerts of the choral season ticket other excellent ensembles and artists will be our partners and grandiose pieces such as Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis or Kodály’s Psalmus Hungaricus. We will close our season with a concert of a world famous early music specialist Elam Rotem and his ensemble “Profeti della Quinta” in April 2023. The concerts of our season will start at 6 p.m. on Saturday each time at the concert hall of the Zoltán Kodály Primary School of Nyíregyháza.
