On Friday, 12 April 2024, the Cantemus Choir will give a special concert in Debrecen as part of the Bárdos Symposium. On this evening, we will present the most outstanding pieces of Hungarian contemporary music in our concert entitled “Frames of Infinity”.

The Cantemus Choir has recently added new contemporary Hungarian choral works to its repertoire, taking up the task of supporting the preservation of the Hungarian choral culture of Kodály. This time again we will take you on a journey into the rich world of contemporary Hungarian music, presenting gems such as Levente Gyöngyösi’s Beati Pauperes Spiritu 40-voice motet, Roland Szentpáli’s Time and Space, and works by Balázs D. Kecskés, Bence Kutrik, Iván Madarász and Máté Bella.

Conducting by Soma Szabó
