In the past, Bence Kutrik has mobilized a great deal of energy to organize several concerts in Hungary, where contemporary Hungarian composers were brought together to perform their compositions.
We took an active part in achieving this noble goal. The choirs of our institution presented to the public contemporary music composed recently.
A new stage in this series of events will be the COMPOSERS IN THE PODIUM workshop and concert on 15-17 September, also organised by Bence Kutrik, where contemporary composers will have the opportunity to teach and conduct their works. The workshop will be supported by the Cantemus Choir and Soma Szabó – Liszt Prize-winning conductor. The venue is the Kodály Hall of the Zoltán Kodály Primary School in Nyíregyháza.
The final moment of the event will be a concert where the composers will take the conductor’s podium and conduct the Cantemus Choir.
The public is invited to this truly special concert, which is FREE to attend
Sunday 17 September at 16:00 in the Kodály Hall.
